Good resource for parents and for teens who might see not see depression underlying a burgeoning drinking problem. However, warning that depression can lead to drinking only tells half of the story. Far more common among teens, I would think, is excessive drinking that eventually leads to depression. In my high school years, for example, my group of friends drank a lot, and for most of us it was just for fun or out of boredom, but issues with alcohol, including chronic depression, set in later.
This video does a nice job of connecting with both an adult audience and an adolescent audience without condescending to either. Definitely a good lead-in if a heath class teacher wants to probe the intricacies of depression and alcohol further.
