It's good that a study has shed new light on the 2004 FDA advisory that anti-depressants can cause suicide. The FDA has since revised this. The study found that suicide attempts were most likely to occur during the month before treatment started, falling by at least 50 percent in the month after treatment began, with steady declines thereafter.
