I think reading patient reviews on a drug are really good because each person's depression is caused by some imbalance in either serotonin, dopamine, or norepinephrine. And the doctor can't really figure out which chemical has to be balanced, how, until he tries things. So he's Emeril. He's cooking. Paxil is a good drug, but as with other good drugs, it works for some and not for others.
