In this article, Dr. Gary Greenberg has the courage to talk about how the pharmaceutical companies make an industry of a disease to maximize sales. Does all depression need to be treated with medication? No. And telling the difference is not in the drug company's interest. Dr. Greenburg says, "Some simple sadness, the occasional melancholy, is part of a normal life, he says, and getting rid of them may mean getting rid of the soul." This is true. There is a difference between melancholy and depression. Good points here.
